2010 STORM PREVIEW
The St. Thomas Storm are ready to kick off their 18th season in the St. Thomas and District Major Fastball League.
The Storm will feature a new logo and some new faces this season.
Returning to the Storm, where he earned rookie of the year honors, is outfielder Matt Lynch. He will be counted on to provide some spark at the top of the order. Matt and cousin Kevin provide us with lots of speed and some pop as well as experience. These two, while fairly young, have plenty of Senior Men's experience at the ISC and National level.
Also joining the club are veteran Dwayne Gee and Kevin Barendregt.
Dwayne has played in the league for a number of years with the Aylmer and Belmont clubs. He is a solid, dependable player who is being counted on to play a number of positions including catcher. His knowledge of the game and positive attitude will be a welcomed addition.
Kevin comes to the Storm after not playing for several years. He is a former member of the Boxall Brewers and was a teammate of several present club members. His enthusiasm is high and he welcomes the challenge of getting back in the groove. "B" will patrol the outfield and also see some time at the hot corner.
The Storm will enter the Woodstock Victoria Day Tournament May 22-24
Also, St. Thomas has joined forces with Glencoe Astros to form a tournament team. They will wear the St. Thomas Evergreen Centennials jerseys.
This team is entering the following tournaments:

July 16-18 Tavistock
July 30-Aug 1 OASA Great Lakes Championships - Kitchener
